Summary:
This research aims to gain a better understanding of approaches to measuring the holistic value of public health services and interventions, using a mixed methods approach through an online internationally distributed questionnaire and expert interviews. It aims to inform future work to understand how to measure the holistic social value of Public Health Institutes, to strengthen institutional capacity and impact and support efforts to achieve a more equitable society, and a more sustainable health system and economy through contributing to making the case for investing in public health.
