This report presents evidence and expert insights to support action on preventing ill health and reducing inequalities to achieve a sustainable economy, thriving society and optimum health and well-being for the people of Wales, now and into the future. It identifies three priority areas for preventive action including building resilience across the life course and settings, addressing harmful behaviours to protect health, and addressing the wider economic, social, and environmental determinants of health.
The report consists of three parts published separately: an executive summary, supporting evidence, and infographics focusing on key health challenges for Wales and suggested evidence-based solutions.
