Health Information for Parents

For expectant parents, having a baby is a time when many seek information and support to help them transition to and through the early years of parenthood.

The resources that can be found on this page have been written with parents, who have already been on the parenting journey, as well as the health professionals who support families and help parents to give their children the best start in life.

The aim of the resources is to:

  • Deliver high-quality resources that are accessible to a wide range of expectant and new parents.
  • Provide a trusted source of health and well-being information for expectant and new parents in Wales.
  • Provide a resource to support the delivery of health promotion information by health professionals and partners to expectant and new parents in Wales.
