Your antenatal blood test result: you are a haemoglobin D carrier
This information is for you if you are pregnant and have had a blood test which shows that you are a haemoglobin D carrier (often referred to as ‘having a trait’).
This leaflet gives you information about being a carrier, and what this means for you and your family.
