Designed to Smile is the Welsh Government’s NHS programme to improve the oral health of young children. This is the second annual monitoring report following the refocus of Designed to Smile as outlined in the March 2017 Welsh Government document “Taking Oral Health Improvement and Dental Services Forward in Wales”.
This refocus developed the programme to concentrate on children age 0-7 years inclusive; thus monitoring reports now present data on children age 0-7 years only. This report provides information on the programme activity in the school year: September 2018- July 2019.
