This report provides an epidemiological overview of tuberculosis (TB) in Wales. It includes data on newly diagnosed TB cases reported through the National Tuberculosis Surveillance System (NTBS). The report also includes Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) data provided by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), and supplemented using NTBS, to describe clusters of TB disease within Wales.
The report is aimed at health professionals, policy makers, criminal justice, third sector agencies and academia.
