This infographic provides a summary of the analysis of NHS dental antimicrobial prescribing in primary care in Wales between 2019-2025. It shows items and Daily Defined Doses per 1,000 courses of treatment at a national level and compares these with the recommendations from Welsh Health Circular WHC/2024/038. It also presents the antibiotics that are the most commonly prescribed.
