HPV vaccination for GBMSM
The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is available from specialist sexual-health services and HIV clinics for gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM). It is available for those aged 45 or under.
The vaccine will help to prevent HPV infection, which can cause genital warts and HPV-related cancers such as cancer of the anus, penis and throat. It is especially important for those who are living with HIV and those who have multiple sexual partners.
