How does the SPPC programme work?

The Strategic Programme for Primary Care (SPPC) is an All-Wales Health Board-led programme that works in collaboration with Welsh Government. Learn more by viewing this SPPC infographic.

The SPPC seeks to articulate the primary and community care contribution to enable delivery of a whole system care model in Wales – the Primary Care Model for Wales. Learn more about the Primary Care Model for Wales here.

The SPPC programme was launched at the National Primary Care Conference in 2019 to support the delivery of the Primary Care Model for Wales. A high level summary of the programmes of work delivered by the SPPC over the last six years is outlined below, with detailed information provided on each report, communication, toolkit of product hyperlinked in the thematic boxes below:
