Breast screening FAQs - Your screening results

Breast Test Wales aims to send out all results within three weeks, but sometimes it takes longer. We will tell you if this is the case.

We will send you a results letter in the post. Your doctor will also get a copy of your result.

Sometimes the images are not clear or blurred and we would need to take another breast x-ray before we can provide you with your result. This is known as a technical recall.

Yes. It is important that you tell us if you are moving. Let us know as you will need to fill in a change of address form.
