Immunisation e-learning

This online learning is provided by Public Health Wales Vaccine Preventable Disease Programme (VPDP) in partnership with Digital Learning Wales.

All staff within the NHS in Wales will access e-learning through Electronic Staff Record (ESR). 

For staff that do not have access to ESR or work outside of NHS Wales, access to e-learning is via Learning@Wales.

Users will need a username and password to access the Learning@Wales platform. To request a username and password please contact [email protected]. Tell us your name, job title and place of work and an account will be created for you. If you have an email address ending with .ac.uk or .gov.uk email, click here to self register.

NHS Wales Staff All NHS Wales staff can access elearning via ESR. If you do not have an account, your account is locked or you need a password reset please email [email protected] or phone 02920 905444.
GP/Primary care staff You will need a user name and password to access elearning on Learning@Wales.

If you do not have an account please contact [email protected] and a username and password will be created for you.

Email your name, job title and place of work to [email protected] and a username and password will then be created for you.

You will be prompted to enter an enrolment key when accessing elearning on the Learning@Wales website:

Log in problems and technical difficulties

Recommended PC Software and Settings

To ensure users get the most out of their elearning experience the following technical requirements are recommended:

ESR:

  • Chrome
  • Edge
  • Pop ups enabled
  • Cookies enabled
  • Screen resolution 1280×1024
  • Audio facility: external speakers or earphones may be required.

Learning@Wales:

one of the following Internet browsers

  • Chrome
  • Edge

Failure to have the correct software on your PC may cause a delay in completing modules and obtaining a certificate. Please contact your local IT support if you do not have this software or it is out of date.
