Registration
Registration for the Welsh Immunisation Conference 2026 is now open. Following the success of last year’s conference, which received fantastic feedback and high demand, we encourage you to secure your place as soon as possible. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please apply early to avoid disappointment. A registration fee of £20.00 applies. Registration is open from Friday 27th February to Friday 27th March 2026.

Poster presentations
Call for poster abstracts now closed for 2026.
New for 2026
Shortlisted authors will have the opportunity to give a 5-minute oral presentation at the conference. Three posters will be shortlisted and authors notified in advance of the event.
This is an excellent opportunity to share your work, innovations, and experiences with a multiprofessional audience passionate about improving immunisation across Wales.
Key details
- All accepted posters will be displayed on large digital screens throughout the conference.
- Delegates will be able to view the posters during the day and vote for their favourite.
- The winner will be announced and presented with a prize during the conference.
- Three posters will be shortlisted ahead of the event. Authors of these posters will be invited to give a 5-minute oral presentation at the conference.
- At least one author for each poster is required to register to attend the conference and pay the delegate fee.

- Successful authors notified Friday 27 February
- Poster submission deadline Friday 20 March

Vaccination Saves Lives awards
The Vaccination Saves Lives (VSL) Awards are now closed for 2026.
The VSL Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise, reward and celebrate the hard work and dedication that goes into immunisation programmes across Wales.
These national awards are open to teams and individuals who work on any aspect of immunisation in Wales.
Award categories:
- Champion Award – Recognises an outstanding individual.
- Team Award – Celebrates a group of two or more working on the same project.
- Lifetime Achievement Award – Celebrates a long-term individual contribution.
- Student Award – Recognises a pre-registration student.
Closing date: 2 March 2026

In addition to the above nomination awards, there is also the General Practice Achievement Award, which is judged on national data.
